The armStone board is presented in PicoITX format and offers all common interfaces (via standard bushes or multi-pin connectors). A display can be easily connected through an LVDS interface. An additional DVI / HDMI interface is also available. This PicoITX card fits perfectly into compact yet powerful applications, measuring just 100x72 mm. All standard connections are arranged on the long side; The armStone power supply is single to 5V. Consumption is contained in a few watts (depending on the CPU) and the use of fans or cooling elements is avoided.

PicoCORE™ is a new family of modules based on ARM architecture. With an area of only 35x40 mm it is ideal for all applications where space and low consumption are essential. The official launch of the series is scheduled for the third quarter of 2018 with a first model (PicoCore™MX7ULP) which will be followed by further upgrades.

The new F&S "EasyLayout" standard, with which the latest COM boards of the efus™ series based on Freescale processors are developed, ensures low costs for the carrier card. The signals that lead to the connectors have been studied so that there are no intersecting lines or excessive holes. In addition, connectors were used to ensure effective space optimization. PicoCOM


PicoCOM PicoCOM is a family of ARM architecture-based modules with an area of only 20cm² (40mm x 50mm) with integrated operating system. These compact cards are perfect for hand-held, industrial (-20°C to +85°C) and medical devices. It comes with USB (Memory Stick/ActiveSync), Ethernet (FTP/HTTP/Telnet Server) and Audio (VoIP/WAV/MP3). Recently introduced A5 models with Freescale CPUs that provide long-life industrial applications. The new F&S PicoCOM series offers the user a small and cost-effective communication platform. An important goal achieved by the project is to be able to offer as many standard interfaces as possible, fully supported by the operating system.

Compact size and cost-effectiveness: these are the special features of the PicoMOD product family. As for the NetDCU family of products, different compatible pin models will be produced but with more or less powerful RISC processors. The idea behind PicoMOD, borrowed from the concept of the NetDCU series, is to remove all the hardware that does not need a direct interface with the CPU (e.g. RS232 level translators) and replace the 2-step connectors , 54mm with a single connector. This means that using PicoMOD is almost as easy as using a NetDCU. Only the base-board project is slightly more complex but devices with compact dimensions can still be obtained.

PC solutions don't have to be expensive. NetDCU is the low cost embedded computer platform. Modern machinery, production plants, control and measurement systems manage an increasing amount of increasingly complicated data, which must be monitored and displayed. F&S has developed an innovative solution for this type of applications. NetDCU is a board based on a powerful RISC processor (PowerPC, ARM, XScale, MIPS), for industrial applications of visualization and control of complex systems.
