EDT price reductions on CSTN (color STN) LCD modules

The optimization of the production process made possible to reduce prices on EDT’s (Emerging Display Technologies) displays in colour STN technology, thus keeping the CSTN technology competitive against TFTs.

The price reduction was announced at Electronica 2006, and is immediately applicable for new purchase orders.

CSTN technology simplifies the upgrade from monochrome to colour displays and makes easier to develop custom specified LCD respect to the TFT approach.

The product range of EDT CSTN includes modules with sizes from 1.5” up to 5.7”.
